According to Wikipedia, David Foster is a Canadian musician, record producer, composer, songwriter, and arranger who have won 16 Grammy Awards – but we’re talking to a different David.
“I have never even been nominated for a Grammy but I do have thirty-five years of experience in the airline business”, said David.
His experience is enhanced by a Master of Science in Operations Research and Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of International Policy and Practice from the George Washington University.
“I believe that MP2 has a great potential”, said David.
The MP2 suite, including the unique AeroStrategizer, allows airlines to fully evaluate future schedules from a commercial perspective. Instead of using proxies, like aircraft utilization and average crew costs, true segment profitability is measured based upon market size, fares, competitor flights and passenger preferences.
“The potential for airlines to increase their operating profitability by using MP2 is, as we say in America these days, huuuge.”
David continues; “The Strength of the MP2 system is also its ability to evaluate and coordinate codeshare flights.”
As airline alliances and joint ventures become a more central part of the airline industry and their contribution to the bottom-line of individual partner airlines grows, the ability of MP2 to coordinate flights across individual operating companies’ gains in importance.
“We are very excited to have David joining the Industrial Optimizers team and we look forward to working together. With David’s knowledge and extensive experience, I am convinced that Industrial Optimizers will succeed with its business goals in North America.” said, CEO at Industrial Optimizers, Tore Jenner.
